FACILITIES
The Club welcomes both social and sailing members - anyone looking for a convivial family atmosphere set in beautiful tranquil surroundings with sheltered patio area and shady veranda, flanked by a modest paved dinghy park, and boat houses. Limited safe parking on the club grounds, with overflow parking guarded on the street.
The Club boasts a recently refurbished bar, well-appointed kitchen, gents and ladies change rooms, lockers, toilets and shower facilities. A peaceful lounge overlooks the water, with beautiful luscious green lawns right up to the water's edge.
Two slipways provide water launching with boat mooring at the lawn edge between races.
This Jewel of Joburg at the Emmarentia Botanical Gardens is perfect for small functions of between 50-100 people depending on season. The lounge that can seat about 50 in rows. The verandah could seat a further 30-40 to achieve an L-shaped layout. - contact a committee member for assistance and further details.
The club currently has a range of boats for use by active members for a modest daily hire. Access is on a first come first served basis through committee member or duty officer of the day.
